Jounjou Romantica and its spiritual successor felt was a little weird for me. Most of the characters had interchangeable personalities. Plus the whole, "I wanna be a manga artist" was way too common and became a cliche.

(isn't yaoi harcore sex and BL stories about guys who like each other?)

From memory, I think the only Yaoi Anime I completed was Sekaiichi Hatuskoi and Dramatical murder (Well, the anime had propbably close to nothing in terms of Yaoi, Just a kiss scene from Noiz and Aoba =D ) But I did watch a lets play vid of the Visual Novel, and I would say the sex scenes are quite HOT! =D AobaXNoiz all the way! And I think theres 2-3 other Yaoi animes Which I haven't finished.

But I mostly read Yaoi manga (And Romance+Comedy Mangas) . Because there is one thing that the anime doesn't show what the manga has................ THE SEX SCENES! Where they actually show the guy putting his dick in, than just showing their expressions. + I have quite a good imagination skills! XD But I also love the love story between 2 guys. And Yes I read the Manga of Love Stage, And I really liked it! The whole Misconception (I think thats the word XD ) Realy stand out in my list.

BL Just means Boys Love (Love between Boys)

And Yes the Yaoi Genre mostly have those Harcore Sex.

While the Shounen Ai Genre is still love between 2 guys but doesn't usually have sex in it. (If people don't ike the sex scenes, this is the genre for them)

Yeah, I read about that but never really bothered looking them up.

I guess I prefer the Shounen Ai genre. We have so many anime threads, we should probably make a yaoi/Shounen Ai one, too.

Really tough cause anime is different to manga. I'll go with

Naruto (cause it was my first real anime)
FMA Brotherhood
Hunter X Hunter 2011 (Best long running shounen anime imo)
Death Note

.. 5th would be between AoT (though it didn't end the production was sublime), Monster (but I didn't finish the anime yet just the manga), Parasyte, Bleach (first 60 episodes, again because one of the first I watched).. I need to watch Cowboy Bepop and NGE at some point.

My favourite manga series would be a more interesting list for me though

Oh HAHAHAHA!!!! Nah! Just share all things Yaoi related (Well, most of them might go to the NSFW Anime thread.... XD ) in the Offical Anime thread. Theres quite a few of us that is active on it. (Maybe around 10 now) But we are growing!
