Let's not pretend that Platinum Games is the problem.

I'd rather have Treasure handle a new Kid Icarus game since that at least has a chance of selling decently as well as the fact that KI:U and Sin & Punishment have similar gameplay mechanics.

I honestly didn't know Treasure was still around!

Treasure is one of my all time favorite developers. I have no doubt that they could create a better Star Fox.

I just hope they succeed on their next game.

In response to what several of you have (rightly) pointed out; yes, I know Platinum is not at fault here, and that even Treasure couldn't have done much within such restrictive guidelines. I didn't mean to slag off Hashimoto and the gang.

I'm just fantasizing about what could have been if Miyamoto didn't have such a misguided iron grip on the project, and if they let Treasure go at it unrestrained.

I think Miyamoto is hardheadedly trying to show that the tablet controller isn't a failed idea since I think he had a lot to do with the implimentation of the 2nd screen on the gamepad.  At least that would explain why he's trying so hard to push for that 2nd screen stuff in Star Fox Zero even though many people who have tried the game out have complained about its awkwardness.

YES! Sin & Punishment 3, please!

I enjoyed both S&P games a ton, and I love Treasure just as much as I love Platinum, but can we wait until SF0 actually comes out before we pretend like we know everything the game has to offer?

That said, I would have no problem with Treasure doing Star Fox. My dream was for either Treasure or Platinum to make it happen, and here it is.

I'm not worried about it. Platinum makes excellent games. This one will be, at worst, an above average game.

Treasure should just make S&P3.
