You're getting one just as the NX is starting to rear its head? anyway, have fun with it!

Hehehe I know rite?, but i thought WTH, ima try Wii U and if it gets me happy enough like my ps4, Ill buy NX as well, but after a while, no hurries there. I forgot to say that I have an X1 and a gaming PC too, and at first, the main reason that I got the Wii U was because I already had the others contendants, so why deny some love to the big N :P

After all I still a PS fanboy at heart, but Wii U is a close second now!

You've missed a lot, honestly there's a lot for you to play.

Wii U - Splatoon, Mario Maker, Mario Kart 8, Mario 3D World, Bayonetta 2, Zelda: WWHD I'd reccomend.

Virtual Console - Super Mario 64, Super Metroid, Earthbound, Super Punch-Out!, Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, Metroid Prime Trilogy, Donkey Kong Country 2.

The only Nintendo I've had was the Game Boy OG. Every gen I get more tempted into buying a Nintendo home console but I think I will wait to the NX.

I haven't come across any control issues.. Anyway, I think you should get Splatoon, Rayman Legends and Mario Kart 8! All of them are amazing games.

I have Splatoon (but maybe I dont like it because I havent tried multiplayer), and rayman legends for PSV and PS3 (great game), but definitively Ill try MK8. Regarding the controller issue I think it is because of the latency mentioned above for not using GAME MODE on the TV.

Thats a lot of PS consoles. :)

Definitely try some other Wii U must have games like Mario Kart 8, Zelda WW HD...and definitely play online Splatoon, because it's all about multiplayer online with Splatoon, but at beginning you will need little time for practice.

Also you can try some great Wii games on your Wii U.

Multiplayer is the best thing about Splatoon. The singeplayer is there just to give you a glimpse of things to come!

Congrats!

Hope Splatoon is on your future games list

Already have it. Came with the console, call me weird, but it wasnt my hit. I kinda want to try Hyrule warriors, but first, need to get used to this new controller screen thing hehehe. Ive just ordered a bigger battery for the gamepad since I cant stand recharging often. Im taking this new (not new but kinda) experience slow.

Congrats on your new Wii U console.  You don't want to use the gray charger, you can hook it up on the top left of the gamepad.  but if your prefernce is wireless, then battery pack is the correct choice.

Try Lego Undercover if you want an open world.

Since you own other consoles, buying WiiU is a good choice for its exclusives. Did you play games from SNES, N64, GCN, and Wii?  There are a lot of good games, and try checking out the eShop if you find any great games that are on discount.
