They banned Kotaku and Joystiq too? Unreal.

I totally agree with GAF. ioi is an uber hacker who .... Who the hell cares what they have to say? And who the hell are they? :P

This is the only gaming site I visit mainly because it is dial up friendly but also a great place to visit.

Yeah. This site is great, and getting bigger. I remember back, when I wasnt a member and would casually visit, I would see like 20 members and 100 guests in the middle of the day. I have, since, seen upwards of 60 members and 600+ guests. It is absolutely growing, and it is adding so many more features. The only thing GAF has is a huge forum with alot of activity. The site itself, however, isnt going anywhere but down.

I have been reading their criticisms, and they are kinda stupid. The only thing that they said to back up their reasoning were pretty much baseless accusations. The only thing that I could criticize from what I have seen are very small things. Like why is Wii sports even listed on the American list? It's a pack in title. Everyone already knows that and if they want to know how many copies are sold they can look at the amount of Wii units sold.

apologies in advance for the dumb question, what is the neogaf website?

well they are kinda right. after ndp comes out numbers here are adjusted, the added on numbers are guesstamets that cant be proven to be legit.

Neogaf is a silly place.

"[Our former customers] are unable to find software which they WANT to play."
"The way to solve this problem lies in how to communicate what kind of games [they CAN play]."

Satoru Iwata, Nintendo President. Only slightly paraphrased.

But NPD's are guesstimates too. As long as they're identified as being VGChartz' (not mistaken as something else), they're relatively close and corrected when not (so as to not diverge), what's the big problem?

People take this far too seriously. There are no hard worldwide sales numbers, guessing is what we all do, some do it better than others. Live with it.

Reality has a Nintendo bias.

"This is the only gaming site I visit mainly because it is dial up friendly but also a great place to visit." I agree, I'm on Dial-up at the moment, and this site loads fast, except when I press reply as apposed to 'quick reply'
