We will never see Xeno X, Devil's Third and Fatal Frame V in "millions-seller" list.

I think all Nintendo fans deserve to play *all* the games without having to spend like $500. 

I'm happy for the Splatoon sales, but it kinda sucks to realize 80% of people who bought a Nintendo machine this cycle won't play the game because they will never buy a Wii U. This is an insane way of doing business. 

In the past it made sense because the portable was just supposed to be like a little "companion" platform for the main console and portable tech was no where near home tech, but that's changed, Nintendo portables have been their best selling platforms for every generation after the Super NES and modern mobile chips allow for high end 3D graphics even. 

I understand that you do not want to acknowledge the low hardware sales or that the WiiU will have an abnormally short life but please stay on topic.

Nintendo mentions they're "looking at VR" in their press briefing. Take that for whatever it's worth.

I'm starting to think 3DS is not even going to reach 70 million LTD, sales are fading out quickly, I think maybe they'll hit 5.5 million 3DS shipments next year and after that it will get really slow. 

Looks like 3DS will finish somewhere along the lines of 68-70 mill and Wii U at maaaaybe 16.5-17 million for their life time sales at this rate. 

so profits are up but hardware is down is what I gather from this

Profit: Up a smidge

Revenue: Down

Hardware: Down

Software: Down*

*But some individual software titles did well like MK8, Splatoon, Yoshi, Mario Maker, etc.
