Probably cancelled.
Zelda U no more TBD, it's 2016 now.

Jesus christ Mario Kart 8.
Hardware:
Wii U: 1.87 M
3DS: 3.6 M
Same quarter last year:
Wii U: 1.91 M
3DS: 4.99 M
Net income:
241 million dollars (If I read this correctly)

Good software sales, Nintendo fans doing work, but bad hardware sales.

Well, with those hardware numbers, it's no wonder that they're rushing to the push out the WiiU.
Mario Kart 8 just cruisin' right along. Not giving a damn about install base :p. Impressive and strong software numbers overall. Wii U held up pretty well YoY. Can't say the same for 3DS however.

With NX they need to just get out of the situation of "telling" people to buy their hardware, and just give people/developers the hardware they want.
The software attach rate they have is so good, but they get into so many stupid situations by trying to force feed the market hardware ideas that a lot of people simply don't want.
Make the hardware as much of a non-factor as possible.

You know with all bad mouthing Nintendo gets these days sales are pretty decent. WiiU is an excellent system that third parties couldn't bend a little for it, sad actually
Wooly Yoshi did better than expected I think, those cute plush Amiibos help.
Good Feel is a solid developer, I wonder if Nintendo will hand them the keys to the Donkey Kong Country franchise if Retro is wanting to move on to other things.

Can you explain to me why you want 3 systems very similar?
