Looks amazing. The first was great!

Loved the first movie so much. Can't believe this is coming out so soon. Love me some J.J.

Big fan of the first one, so looking forward to this new one.

Apparently it's not a sequel but a "blood relative"...whatever that means.

Hope not everything happens in a bunker. Unless there's a bowling alley...

I'm really curious what he means by "blood relative" and whether this will actually be a continuation of Cloverfield or actually just share the same name other than the fact that it takes place in the same universe as Cloverfield.

The main theory people seem to be having from what i've seen is that this takes place a while after the original attack in the first movie and these people are living in a bunker while the monster is still alive on the surface or something.

But for all anyone knows maybe it won't have any monsters in it at all.

Plus the movie was apparently made with a $5 million budget while the original Cloverfield had a $25 million budget.

This has me really hyped for it though, and I still haven't even properly seen the original Cloverfield.

Not really a sequel from how it sounds, but an in-universe event. This is a much smaller budgeted affair. Cloverfield probably looking to become an anthology of some sort in the future.

I can't wait to see this!! One of my favorite movies finally recieving a sequel!

As you can probably guess from my sig, I am excited for this! XD

I loved the first film, and I've been hoping for a followup for years. While this seems like more of a spin-off than a sequel, I'm still keen to see how it turns out. Doesn't hurt that I'm a fan of John Goodman and Mary Elizabeth Winstead either!
