It's curious that you're talking about óur school system as if you know why it's crumbling. The social democrats moved the oraginzation from the state to the local communes and imposed regulations to help the communes maintain quality. Shortly after, a conservative governement removed the regulations leading the communes to cut corners and cheaping out on the schools. This was long before the US fucked up the middle east and created these waves of refugees.

Only 15% of second-generation muslims in Sweden can be considered religious. 15%!!! One or two generations and they're done. This is a place where religion comes to die. This is why I keep saying that as long as we spread out our immigrants, they will interact with our ideals and values, and ours will win, because they are modern. Um, no.  The only suggestion I've made in this thread was to support reformers like Maajid Nawaz and Ayaan Hirsi Ali, so jumping straight to the deep end of whatever the hell you're suggesting is a rather odd tactic in a discussion.  Which is why it's so difficult to have this discussion, because individuals like yourself purposefully assume the worst (or even worse, intentionally mischaracterize anothers intentions for the sole purpose of removing their voice from a discussion), and then broadcast it like that's what I was saying.  When I clearly said nothing to suggest that, whatsoever.  The problem is, when it's done in public, you brand someone a racist, or bigot, or a Nazi etc... and all of a sudden they're dogpiled on social media (nevermind that they're neither racist, a bigot or a nazi), but that's not the point of this tactic.  The point of this tactic is to control the discussion, to target intellectuals who actually do want to discuss things, to remove them from the discussion so that it can continue to be controlled by one side (CJ Werlemen, Reza Aslan, Glenn Greenwald and Cenk Uygar have employed this same tactic against Sam Harris, for example).  Please stop doing this.  For someone so interested in progress, the tactics you employ say otherwise.

I was asking you if those were the points you were making, I wasn't saying those were your positions. If you want to discuss, I made a lot of points in my previous comment. I thought I made a pretty good case for my positions.

But the information IS relevant because north african countries are muslim, and yet they were in the same league as italians. Although I'm not surprised since being deeply christian and deeply muslim isn't all that different.

I already told you why the swedish school system was failing. It was because a conservative government fucked up the reforms of the Olof Palme government (which in hindsight were not that well thought out either). What is articles saying that the school system is failing supposed to prove. I'm not disputing that. I'm saying immigrants aren't to blame for that one issue. It is VERY well known why our shool system is failing.

The last article you posted also just made my point for me. It explains really well why it's misleading to call sweden a rape capital. That's why no swede except the SD sympathisers use the "Sweden is a rape captital" talking point. Because most of us know better.

That "Yugoslavian mafia" for some strange reason reminded me of a 1979 video by Lena Lovich I saw yesterday: the subtitles explained that her mother was Serbian (ex-Yugoslavia), as if it was something hilariously wild or exotic.

Well, I guess me replying to your replying to someone else is certainly confusing.  So, for that I do apologize.  I was merely attempting to draw you back into civil discussion over what is certainly an issue, by providing a video with actual evidence and a more civil tone.  I don't think it's as simple as spreading them out over X area, because for one, you'd be restricting their movement.  Ergo, if they wanted to group together (which many migrants do desire the comfort of those of their own culture or religious affiliation, NY's Polish, and Yiddish neighborhoods, for example), you can't just tell them no or you're walking into a whole other hill of beans(I'd start to be suspicious if I felt the Government was purposefully restricting individuals like me from living in/near each other).  For another, with the volume of people we're talking about here (and this is a broader issue than just refugees, btw) makes that rather difficult down the line.

As I indicated earlier, reformmation of Islam is absolutely integral to solving this issue.  It not only helps those traveling/living abroad, but increases the quality of life for those currently oppressed under these regimes.  Beyond that, I'm not entirely sure.
