I liked it a lot, I think it's an improvement over Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, and better than Sticker Star (obviously), but it doesn't quite get the greatness of the other Mario RPG games. So.. It'll be the 8th for me. Not that I dislike the game, I liked it a lot, but just not as much as the rest.

See I actually really liked Dream Team, but Bowsers Inside Story was, in my opinion, the best ML game. I really liked that game. Dream Team was waaaaay too long, though. I really loved the Paper Mario characters in Paper Jam!

Yeah, I agree, Bowser's Inside Story is the bet. Paper Jam has some issues (like some repetitive minigames), but the world and the paper characters are really charming, and that's what elevates the game over Dream Team. And the lack of endless tutorials.

Yes I hate endless Tutorials. Even the first ML game had it a lot. I think Alpha Team can learn a thing or two from the Paper Mario franchise, which is way more limited with that kind of stuff. Dream Team particularly had a huge amount.
