Not really. Not since Link to the Past. It actually can't packed with hints to some tough puzzles.
I did use one in Wind Waker and Majoras Mask, though--but only because those games were pretty cryptic.
What should i use a walkthroug and spoil the story/events ?
The first time, i finish the game by myself.
I cant remember ever using a walkthrough in zelda other than for the first one. i normally only use walkthroughs if im really really stuck or if things are dragging and i just want done with the game.
edit: i take that back. I remember breifly looking at a walkthrough for wwhd because i was stuck trying to get on the ghost ship and it turned out i needed to get the map first... Why leave all the clues about when it shows up if you need to get the map to be allowed on it?
I used a walkthrough once, but these days, unless I am completely stuck, I never use walkthroughs for my first playthrough in a game.
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
Only ones I used a walkthrough are...
LOZ
Zelda II
AOL
Oracle games
All the others I beat 100% on my own : D
I don't think I needed a walkthrough in Link Between Worlds.
Most games once or twice though, which I think is a good amount.
That was me, until I played through Link between worlds. Never needed one for that game.

Well when I was 8 i got stuck on kakariko village cause I didn't know you had to show the note to the guard so few years later I was able to figure that out through a walkthrough and fully enjoy the game. Also come on the 8 shards in Windwaker? And the fact that the Ice and Fire islands to get the items were no where on the map was tough. I didn't use one in TP though which I am extremely proud of.
When I was really little, I used guides to get through Ocarina and Twilight Princess. Since Skyward Sword, though, I don't use guides on Zelda, or really any game anymore. Sure, I'll still take a quick look at a guide if I'm unsure where to go, but I feel like that's a good place to use guides. If you're absolutely stuck and you've tried everything.
bet: lost
