Nice list with Splatoon, Bloodborne, Rocket League, Life is Strange, Fallout 4 and Witcher 3 getting most nominations. Even if I don't like some of those... I know they deserve to be there.

Quantum Break being nominated is kind of a joke -- almost no one hypes up that game at this point....

Haha QB definitely buuuuuut TLG i don't think so ;) it was in development since 2007 and people were waiting for it since it was announced back in 2009 .. including me :D so it easily beats Zelda because of that imo

Hmmmm, Honestly, This is a damn good list overall. I figured I'd see more Fallout, but the choices make sense.

as my personal favorite this year, I hope Bloodborne wins every category it's nominated for, except - paradoxically - Best RPG, which should go to TheWitcher (I think Bloodborne is the better game but Witcher has better RPG elements and is a close second overall, even if I didn't like it).

It's the game with the most hyped behind it, it's a simple concept to grasp.

Granted, some games are missing like ME and Zelda but we don't know enough about those two and some others left out.

I understand the concept, I just question its validity. A lot of the hyped nominated games just turned out to be disappoint (the first Destiny, Watch_Dogs). IMO, awards should be given on concrete results, not on nebulous promises. But it's not really a big deal of course...
