I will never play MGSV,but you are spot on and he ruined the overall plot after MGS2.

Wow that is horrible and I am glad I am not buying this game.Kojima compeltely crapped on the entire franchise and ruined the overral plot with this garbage.In fact this just ruins the whole series for me and now I don't even know if it still has a high place in my gaming history.

I think you're confusing psychopath with sociopath. Liquid is a psychopath, he has zero empathy for the world and has a clear, focused objective in life; he doesn't care showing it and crushes anyone in his path. Sociopaths are those who can blend in society, and be manipulative bastards. Big Boss is neither. He was some dude who felt betrayed by his own country and the ideals passed onto him and he chose chaos. No matter the amount of "Sorry Boss I misunderstood you", he's still a cheap bastard who fucked up a lot of people. But yeah, ever since MGS3 every Metal Gear game has tried to make him shine like he's the true hero of the whole franchise, when he is not.
