- Hugh Jackman told MTV News when asked about who should play Wolverine now that he is no longer portraying the character for the big screen:

“I haven’t really given it a lot of thought,”

“I’ve been asked that question a lot, and I’m always like, ‘I don’t wanna make it too easy on the studio to replace me,’ you know? I’ve still got one more to do. I’m sure they’re already talking about it, and there’s some actor [they’ve told] ‘shh, keep it quiet but we want you next.'” 

- But when pressed, Jackman offered up one specific name. “He’s younger than me for sure,” “I think Tom Hardy would be a great Wolverine.”

Well , Hugh Jackman is 6'7 ? and Tom Hardy is probably somewhere around 5'9 ?

that's already a plus for me , one of the issues with jackman was his height , Logan should be around 5'4 to 5'7 ?

Agreed! He would be the perfect successor. So is this why he dropped out of the Suicide Squad? Hmm...

yeah and also let him be luke skywalker, batman, superman, spidey the next terminator and in every movie released in the next 20 years and then clone him and lets get the party started all over again

Come now, some of the X-Men movies are amazing! We won't speak of the few horrible ones or every other superhero movie Fox has ever released though...

Can he achieve the Wolverines body?

Hugh Jackman trained literally years to represent that character. There is an interview that on the last Wolverine movie, that was the first time that he was satisfied with what he thought Logan would look in real life, cutting all the water off his body to film the shirtless scene.

I dont think Hardy would be that commited to the role IMO.

P.D. He is an amazing actor, dont get me wrong.

He should continue to play Wolverine until it kills him.
