Speaking of flops, Tearaway drops out of the charts.

No surprise. It was only hyped by PS fans yet they didn't buy lol.

This game wasn't hyped by anyone.  Its performance suprised no one.  And it sure as heck wasn't hyped as the second coming on platformers in the way that Forza was suppose to redefine racers.

If that is the only thing you can muster as a reply then don't reply at all.

bolded: Believe me, you will have these now and again, it always happens with theese PR statements

1. Prove to me that the demo isn't counted, a google search shows me that the demo for Horizon 2 also has online and it could thus be assumed that demo players would also be represented on the leaderboards, I'm not saying that's 100% the case but if you're saying it isn't then prove it.

2. You did not talk about my second point at all.  And even if you did, what does it matter? It doesn't change the fact that the point is simply true, there are tons of ways to get on these leaderboards without having to actually buy the game.

And stop crying about "people keeping up the hate" and start blaming MS for making bullshit PR statements like this. Nobody would be "hating" if they just had the balls to give a sales number or just didn't give a number at all, but instead they have to throw a number at people and it has to be the highest number possible, so they chose this BS.

So where is it?

1.The info already said ONLY Forza 5 and Horizon 2 actual game, why should i trust you over MS that demo counts? not even gaf would doubt this. Also, there is not only ONE leaderboard of the game, there are bunch of different type leaderboard that demo doesn't have.

2.Yes and i already said it, what's the point to repeat? also don't forget the there are players are in leaderboard A but never tried leadeboard B and vice versa, none of any leaderboard can count all players at once.

And it's not bullshit PR, it just PR for Forza 6 release, the news release at Forza 6 release date, how is this a problem? oh yeah, becuase it's a news of Xbox exclusive so it's a problem.

The share for TTK is less of a favor for PS4 than I thought it would be and I am surprised Forza 6 sold more than PES combined, good!

Indeed Walsufnir-San.  I thought the PS4 would be a bit higher myself (roughly 60% higher give or take). Either way, a good week for it nonetheless.

It outsold a multiplatform soccer game in UK which released one day earlier and was outsold by Destiny, which launched on 15th.

Your point is? Already two games in 1%. Probably measurement failure, right?

Except it didn't. PES released on Friday as well, as do the vast majority of games in the UK. Activision are one of the exceptions that tend to go for simultaneous world wide releases hence often release on Tuesdays. But for the most part Friday releases are the norm in the UK which makes the 'only 2 days' excuse pathetic at best. It's no different from any other game, if it failed to sell well in that period then it simply failed to sell. Plenty of other games in the UK can sell well in their first week despite releasing on a Friday.

I used the data provided by Wikipedia for EU release. I don't have any data for games in UK but I am sure, although my attempt was oh-so pathetic (which is surprising to me as I didn't want to make the discussion personal but there goes the preference in discussion style) that you can provide explicit data on games released this year, when they released and how much they sold in their first week (or better, for the majority of these games: there 2 days they released).

Friday is the usual release day for the UK. This hails back to the early days when games literally shipped as and when they were produced. One of the biggest game retailers in the 80s (Dixon's) decided they wanted confirmed dates for games so they could include them in their weekend brochures. As these were distributed in the weekend papers the games needed to be in stock and so Friday became the new game drop day for the UK.

You often gamesheld back from the UK digitalstores until Friday too becauseof this even if already released in mainland Europe.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

1. No, what the info said was between Forza 5 and Horizon 2, there was absolutely no confirmation that demo players weren't included. Can you prove to me that demo players are not included in this leaderboard, if you can do that then I'll happily admit that demo players aren't included (cause that effectively doesn't matter anyway, the number is still misleading as all hell)

2. The point is that that is the reason have a problem with this piece of PR which you apparently don't want to see.

Also if you want this to be an discussion stop crying that "this is only a problem because it's Xbox", no it's a problem because it's giving a number designed specifically to make people think the game sold way more than it actually did.

I'm happy to see PES doing decent numbers. I would hate to live in a world were FIFA is the only Football game out there.

And this is the demo leaderboard looks, all of them are level 1 because there are no level system in demo.

Are you going to add 1.88m in it?

But at least today i know what is true BS and even think yourself is right when you never even played the game.

They problem is only hater think it's a problem and that's it.

ICXM? that just Xbox version of dualshocker, why would you even care that site? you serious think i would give a free pass to Xbox fanboy?

Also check my first reply with the PR and which 3 comment i quoted, even you think the PR is BS, is that mean haters can use another BS like "demo counted" to respond?

Oh wait you don't even care racers and yet you spend a lot of time to bashing Forza.

It sold around 20k? That's not decent numbers at all, especially when you consider FIFA will be pushing close to 1m first week in the UK alone.

If it sold enough for konami to keep the series alive. It has good sold enough. Also it's doing somewhat better than PES 2014, so that's great :P.
