So we have

1
Forza Motorsport 4 (X360)
Microsoft Game Studios, Racing
108,488 108,488 1
3
Forza Motorsport 5 (XOne)
Microsoft Game Studios, Racing
62,028 62,028 1

And now the 6th entry between 22k and 36k? Well doesn't that scream oversaturation, I guess people aren't that excited for this part of the "biggest lineup in Xbox history" anymore.

Yep, seems so. Doesn't mean the game isn't great, though, in terms of quality. Unless someone wants to say quality equals in sales but than COD was the "best" franchise last gen, in terms of quality, outselling all other games. I don't think we want to go this road.

I'm not saying the games are bad, more that MS should maybe step of the gas with the franchise and give it an extra year or off or so, so that there can be actual excitement for the franchise again. People do not need a new entry in a racing simulator that often and with Horizon coming in off years it feels even more like there's constantly a new Forza coming out, the franchise is just not popular enough to retain peoples interest with a flood of titles like that, this isn't Fifa.

Looks like Forza 6 is flopping. Even Horizon 2 did better than that and Forza 3 and 4 did like 3x its sales.

Well, it released on 18th, so perhaps we shouldn't already write this game off.

Really doubt it since Forza is not your regular COD with frontloaded sales. This probably had fans on the edge of franchise fatigue

Forza 6 have 3 different digital version and two of this let you play first so it may have sold good in dd. Don' talk about flop

So it released on Friday, the same as 99% of UK game releases? Your point was?

It outsold a multiplatform soccer game in UK which released one day earlier and was outsold by Destiny, which launched on 15th.

Your point is? Already two games in 1%. Probably measurement failure, right?

Destiny Crowned King

21/Sep/2015

Launched on Tuesday, ‘Destiny: The Taken King’ is crowned No1 this week.

It gives Activision Blizzard their first All Formats top spot since ‘Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’ in W6 2015. The PS4 version claims a 57% share, Xbox One 34%, Xbox 360 7% and PS3 2%. A major expansion for a game released just over a year ago, launch sales of ‘The Taken King’ represent 16% of the original’s debut. There are also new entries at No2 and No3 with ‘Forza Motorsport 6’ starting its engines at No2 and ‘Pro Evolution Soccer 2016’ kicking off at No3. ‘Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain’ (-54%) gets knocked off No1, dropping to No4, ahead of ‘Mad Max’ (-45%) at No5 and ‘Super Mario Maker’ (-58%) at No6. ‘Grand Theft Auto V’ (+3%) is a non-mover at No7, while ‘Disney Infinity 3.0’ (-18%) is forced down 4 places to No8.

There are 2 more new titles that make the Top 40 this week, ‘Rugby League Live 3’ from Alternative Software scrums down at No9 in time for the start of the Rugby World Cup, while EA’s ‘NHL 16’ starts life at No15. Xbox One retailer hardware bundling gives a boost to ‘Call of Duty: Ghosts’ (+124%), up from No24 to No14 and ‘Titanfall’ (+265%), a re-entry at No25.

WTF kind of ignorance is this? . Sure League fans will have an interest in the RWC, but the RWC isn't going to suddenly make people interested in a League video game.

LMAO The excuses. PES is not even a big seller in UK. I mean you got to try harder than that.

Speaking of flops, Tearaway drops out of the charts.

It'll be on PS+ anyway. Would probably just need a few millions to break even.
