- House didn't reveal price but it could cost around £350 ('round 545.29 'merican dollaz)

- House expects 10 titles to be ready for PSVR at launch, which is expected to take place first half of 2016

- House said about PSVR:

“VR rewrites the rule book on how you can create games,”

“You’re seeing a large amount of interest and work happening among smaller teams, because it’s possible to create something in VR that is very simple but still very magical.”

Did you expect PlayStation VR to be cheaper? How low do you expect the price for the VR device to be to seriously consider buying PlayStation VR?

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

Not interested anyway, but especially not for €400.
I'll just punch two eye holes onto a cardboard box and wear it over my head while playing with a controller. I call it LR (Literal Reality)

So, if you want to try games that use the VR tech, you'll end up spending almost  1000€. Console+VR set+ game. It better be Matrix levels, or people are going to be pissed.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

huh, that's less than I expected, but also much more than I'd be willing to pay.

Actually the article seems to state that Sony (specifically) will have more than 10 titles for its device in the launch year.  This doesn't really seem to include other developers.   Also,  p"priced as a new gaming platform" means nothing realy.  I don't know what to take away from that.  It does mean for sure that the kit will not be more than $399 so there is that.  I'm still hoping for $299 though.

How do you get £350=$550? You should know how messed up the exchange rates are! Its almost £1-$1 if a publisher thinks they can get away with it.

PS4 launch price was £350 and $399.

I was hoping for £300/$350 personally. I would like to try it myself before I buy though, if I am not 'wowed' I doubt I will buy it straight away, even though I have 2 Morpheus-compatible games already, soon to be 3.

The titles of 2016 will mess up VR big time. Too many games people are waiting for is coming next year that will probably take away from VR interest unless it really is magical...

We'll know VR price and western price cut (or its nonexistance) at PGW

The VR looks cool, but that price. No, thanks.

Someone has created something like this already.

Holy cow, I'd figure it'd be a periferal and be priced as such ($250 tops). This thing is gonna go down in flames.
