When will Nintendo show Zelda U?

I think they will open the next direct with Zelda U. The footage at The Game Awards 2014 was a world premiere of gameplay. I feel like it was just a one time thing that Nintendo will do. So I just personally have a gut feeling they will show the next direct with Zelda, especially since Iwata isn't there (RIP <3).

I think we will have a direct in October. Mid-ish. Before the release of Yoshi (US) and Fatal Frame. We will get news of Fatal Frame V becoming physical(US) due to Operation Rainfall and numerous amounts of fans calling Nintendo about it, which Nintendo started taking notes on btw. 

 

Either way, what do you guys think?

EDIT: I FORGOT that October 1st is also when the Smash Ballot ends. And I am pretty sure Sakurai has been on work with new characters months before now. So I think they will also show a new character soon. Mid october would be perfect for that.

Ballot ends October 3rd. I beleive.

 

OT: I'm more interested in future suprises rather than things we have something on tbh. So I'll just pay attention whenever they release info

I hope not.

People need to stop with this Zelda obsession.

Every E3 event in the live chat people like ZELDA ZELDA ZELDA fucking you Nintendo where is ZELDA.

To me this behaviour makes no sense as Zelda is a GUARANTEED GAME. The amount they shwo before it releases due to people asking for it almost spoils the whole game. Don't people want some mystery left lol.

It has been announced we know it is coming, we seen some footage what more do we want lol? let the game wow you when you play it.

How about something new and nice from a collaborative effort with a 3nd party studio?

Now Nintendo needs to do a collaborative effort with a third party Western studio.

Eh, Zelda: Tri Force Heroes is coming out soon, so I'd say they show that instead of Zelda U.

I have a short wish list of games, actually, for localization:
Rhythm Heaven: The Best+, Corpse Party 3DS Remake, Band Brothers P, that cat tower-defense game, everything Dragon Quest released in Japan for the 3DS, Girls Mode 3. And Super Robot Wars, but that'll never happen.

Seriously, Nintendo? Three first-party games are on that list.

I also want more third-party partnerships.
Valkyria Chronicles for Wii U would be nice.
...a Kancolle client or Flash support for the Wii U would also be nice, Nintendo! Especially if you bring it to the west...with concessions, of course. Like bringing Kancolle Kai to the Wii U alongside the client...heheheh.

And make the Fatal Frame studio work on Pokémon Snap, that ought to be interesting.

Back on OP, Nintendo almost have to address the Zelda issue one way or another. After a lacklustre E3 can they really have a Nintendo Direct 4 months later with the same old games we've already seen again and again? If they want to squeeze one last surge out of Wii U before NX then give people a few things to look forward to! Pikmin 4 and confirmation that Zelda is in fact coming to Wii U in 2016 would be a good place to start. And for gods sake can we have a better look at and a solid release date for Fast Racing Neo?

I think they will show more of Zelda when they announce the NX and say "hey Wii U owners, we haven't forgotten you, here's a crappy port that runs at 20fps".
Rather than showing Zelda again I would rather want confirmation that it's headed to the Wii U and only the Wii U.
