I agree. Looks like a GameCube/Wii game.

it is wii tech with better textures.

Those explosions and that water both look great, but those mountains, buildings, etc., in the environments?.. They could definitely use some work. The space vistas are pretty attractive too, but after something like Starhawk, I'm not sure I'll ever be more impressed again.

 Obviously saying it looks no better is ridiculous, but I can still kindof see where those people are coming from. Those mountains and buildings look terrible...

Star Fox could really be a big AAA game for Nintendo if they really wanted to. That Star Wars Battlefront can easily be adopted to Star Fox universe. But they opted somewhat a reharsh of this N64 game. a little bit better, but they should have really push the limits of that Wii U.

I expected more from a game on a system that could handle Mario Kart 8, hell even the Star Fox stage in Smash Wii U looked better. I always hoped they would continue the Assault art style, but seeing as how Namco had a hand in that I didn't expect it to continue. It seems they are pulling a new super mario brothers with the star fox series.
