"...real-time changes to environment based on certain conditions".

Now, this sounds really interesting!

Thats what I thought as well! Thats the most interesting part of this whole thing, and least discussed one.

I wonder how this will work, will it be some sort of program that will be implemented in every game or some thing? Wouldnt it be cool if the console could read the weather in you area and SHOW THAT in the game?

I thought about that too: HW or SW? I'm leaning towards HW.
If it was a SW thing they would keep it hidden. Also, this more of a task to include in all games, seeing as they also speak of adapting the game to player skills and in game issues - whatever that means.

For some reason, CLOUD came into my mind.
NX could be prepared to co-operate with a CLOUD system and instead of leaving everything up to HW to process, the CLOUD would take care of the rest if necessary.

Enviroment changing the game or your mood would be a great way to change how you play. Specially, the mood part.

I love it! But how would it read ur mood? Wouldnt you kinda have to state ur mood to the NX first ? And how would the actual HW change things in- game?

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Well, that could be one way. The machine could even ask you your mood. For example, imagine Cortana speaking to you and asking you stuff. Seems more immersive.
NX could have a device to read you a la QoL or with the help of QoL. That thing is supposed to read a bit of how you are feeling, right?

Still, a quick check when you start the machine or even via smartphone so when you come and home and start playing you don't have to waste time!

People think patents are meant for only innovations. In the U.S patents are little more than a list of features of a particular item which make it -in combination - said item. For that reason Nintendo is obligated to list and or patent every feature this platform will have upon patenting it or otherwise they will face lawsuits. We've seen this happen with DS, 3DS, Wii, and Wii U where patent trolls tried to use the power of suits to extort Nintendo.

But all of those had patents filed too, correct? How is this different from prior systems?

Nintendo was mostly sued on things not included in their patents. The more specific and the more details they give, the more protected they are. Even if these details aren't neceasarily innovations in themselves. Nintendo doesn't want to pay the same legal fees later on, so they decide to be thorough right now. A patent protects Nintendo from these suits and the potential of suits.

Still, do you really want to answer personal questions when you just wanna sit down and play? But I do like that QoL thing! That's something MS should have done with Kinect! That would have made that tech awesome!

But how many of those features will be added in the final product :O

All of them hopefully. It wouldn't make too much sense to patent these features if they're not going to be used!

They wouldn't really be personnal questions, i think.
It's just a possibility anyway.

If Nintendo can use the QoL with NX, so much the better!

Great news indeed! Having in-game chat should definitely help some of the issues that developers may have had with the Wii U. Here's to more good news in the future!
