I don't like onions. Berries are hit and miss. For some reason, I like it when the r two are combined. You're A-okay in my book.

I am waiting for your impression I know you got the game.

I think Beyond was great, except from the back and forth timeline that fucked up the pacing of the game.
I loved the story, and the ending is mind blowing to say the least.

I also loved Heavy Rain.

Those are the type of story heavy games that you can only find on Sony consoles. I cant wait to play Until Dawn.

So it is better than Heavy Rain? I may have to look into it once it is cheap.

I also really disliked Heavy Rain, incredibly overrated in my opinion.

I would get it, but I'm not giving $85 to play it Day One. I'll wait until some deals before I get it.

wow why so expensive?

I'm from Canada and with our shitty dollar the costs $85 with taxes.

So, because of that, I have to be more careful with my Day One purchases.

it's crazy, taxes are the devil

13% tax is not the worst, the Canadian dollar was still close to parity with the US dollar a year ago, worth 92 cents, today it's only worth 75 cents and still dropping. 2 years ago it was worth more than the US dollar. Actually game prices are still too low, $60 US is now $80 CAD, with tax $90.
On the flipside, instead of Canadians shopping south of the border, more Americans are coming to shop here.

I guess it gives me an incentive to get through my backlog instead of buying games on day 1.

I played like five seconds of it then switched to Gears of War.  Then I played the intro and stopped so I can show it off to my gf.  Then, I played the intro again and did the psychological test (a ripoff of Silent Hill SM,btw) .

I like it.  I like it a lot!!!  Gonna play it for my daughter when she comes over tomorrow.  We love games like this and this one seems to be very well done.

From what I've seen, it seems to handle the genre quite well. It gives you enough agency to make it feel like you are a part of the story and it doesn't take itself too seriously. The writing gets a pass because it is playing on horror movie tropes and cliches so when something is stupid and silly, its probably supposed to be that way.

The biggest problem with Beyond was that the story was a mess and due to clumsy use of the "no game overs" rule, it felt like what you had very little impact on the world.

$75 here, $85 after tax. (Canada) digital and physical :/
Interested, but not that interested.

Games will probably get up to 79.  The dark age of gaming is returning :(

Great.  At least the game is entertaining.  Hope to play it soon (lack of funds ATM)
