Definitely better than last year in terms of system-selling potential. Even Splatoon alone should push it quite a bit during the holidays, especially if it's bundled.

Isn't Mario Maker going to be the replacement WiiU bundle going forward?

It's going to be interesting watching WiiU this holiday. I thought it did fairly well last year, all things considered. Be interesting to see if the other games bring in any new audience, or whether they got all the expected crowd in last year with the deals.

Yes, but they could do a special-value limited Splatoon bundle like the Wii Party U bundle in 2013. Mario Maker would just be the standard.

last Wii U holidays was really bad. Under 25k in the Smash Bros week... That's just terrible. Maybe not so terrible if it was a normal week... But was December.

The Wii U has sold really well during 2013, even above 100k in only a week.
