the current wiiu gamepad isnt possible to do that

Oh. Why is that?

I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.

With the way Konami's running things now it'll likely never happen sadly. Sounds like a fantastic idea btw.

So many third party developer said they had no idead what to do with the wii u gamepad.

I got an idea first I saw the wii u as it got revelead.

Do you guys know the tv-serieos Yugioh. it was popular 10-15 years ago.

Its a card game where the players can summon their monsters in the real world.

They are using a device where they can place their cards. It does look like this:

The Wii U Gamepad could perfectly be used similar as this Device.

So your playing the normal cardgame just on the wii u gamepad. The Tv will show the summoned monsters, and if you attack they will fight. So the TV would be like the real world in the series.

Wii U gamepad = cardgame only

TV = Battles in real action, effects and co

Considering how sucsessfull a game like Hearthstone is, i think this could be very sucsessfull as well if done right (online multiplayer and co)

thoughts?

Is this what you would like to see as a "2nd screen expierence"?

Would be even better with 2 Gamepads, and the TV lying on the ground in between the 2 Players. No better way to play the Anime-Style battles.

I thought of this when the WiiU first came out. I also realized the problem. Using physical cards for online wouldn't work because people would cheat. No one would actually shuffle their decks or anything else relating to following deck rules. This would only work locally with two gamepads, one tv and the two players forcing each other to follow the rules. Digital decks is the only route to go and ofcourse that would work anywhere.

As long as it is not a Sony exclusive, I'm sure it can happen if Nintendo tried to approach the needed people who would try to start this type of game.

I like how the OP describes yugioh like no one has seen the game haha.

I agree though would be great
