The fact that your a silent hero trying to save your girl, and the fact that you have to kill giant monsters to do it. That's rather vague, I know, but it has an atmosphere that screams Shadow of the Colossus.

I got that game from my local library and I totally felt that was aswell. Although I liked it a bit better.

yea i kinda get that vibe from the atmosphere, but the game itself is not really that similar. Pretty hard to compare the games besides the things you just listed.

There a couple other similarities (the bosses frequently feel like miniature colosi.

Pandora's Tower is a dungeon-crawling action RPG with 2 twists, one being the tricks the Chain of Oraclos allows and the other a time limit to explore the 13 dungeons. It doesn't even have an overworld like SotC, which is a good thing.

The only thing those games have in common is what is said in the OP.
