Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Super Metroid, First Print Up For Sale On Ebay.

Super Metroid (Super Nintendo SNES) - NEW SEALED FIRST PRINT MINT GOLD VGA 90! Currently the seller wants $6,000 or $1,000 a month, thought about actually buying it but I'm paying for my wedding etc... Just to much but it is one of my all time favorite games, Maybe I could years down the road, if I could even find it. This would be the ultimate collection for me. My room is getting packed with gamer limited edition collections, From NES, Super NES, down to one of my newest collections, Clap Trap in a Box and elder scrolls statue or imperial edition.

Goddamn. I'm a collector, but I'm not crazy. There's a very small market for that kind of price, and it's almost solely sealed CIB collectors. I'm more of the "play my games" type so if I was gonna get a physical copy of Super Metroid (and I want to) then I'd just fork out $50 for it. Maybe if I wanted to do CIB SNES collection I'd fork out more, but even $50 is a hard sell for me right now when I have the ability to play it on my Wii U for free right now lol

You should check out my YouTube channel, The Golden Bolt!  I review all types of video games, both classic and modern, and I also give short flyover reviews of the free games each month on PlayStation Plus to tell you if they're worth downloading.  After all, the games may be free, but your time is valuable!

$6k for a VGA 90 seems like a hell of a lot of money. Good luck to them selling it I guess.

If i was going to actually buy this i would be sending lower offers, very much lower to start and see if I could haggle, if he didn't budge, I would have not bought it.

I'll pass. I don't buy games to display them, I buy them to play it

i want it!

Switch!!!

Nice, would love to have that one. Not at that price though.. though I am familiar with spending big money on games I have never come close to this.

Its one of my dreams to get Dragon Warrior 1-4 on NES New and Sealed. It would end up costing me many thousands of dollars. But if I ever end up with them most likely I will end up regretting it. Loving it, but regretting it.

yeah i collected for a bit don't waste your money on it they drop in value more and more as they become downloadable download games has destroyed the collectors market i suggest you run from this hobby fast

Games are meant to be played...
