All of those things put together would at best sell a couple million consoles, most of which would be concentrated in Japan.

Lets call this by what it actually is: OP made a list of games he wants to play on his Wii U not what would save the Wii U

The original post suggested what he would think would push for more console sales especially in Japan.  The title of the thread is what could have save the Wii U?  We have similar threads but what games you think would push for console sales. OP mentioned Japan centric games but it should be known that Wii U should also cater European and US market to have great sales.

There is no realistic scenario in which the Wii U is going to be saved, it's either Nintendo pays literally billions to not only get full 3rd party support but also get several very high profile 3rd party exclusives both from eastern and especially western publishers or some completely unexpected game comes out, strikes gold and becomes another game of a generation, comparable to Pokemon back in the day.

All this "the Wii U needs X game to be saved" or "these 5 games can save the Wii U" talk is just unrealistic and is, like I said, driven by what the authors of such threads/comments want to see on the system, same with the talk about them "needing to buy Capcom" that went around a couple months ago, also a horrible idea only existing because people want to see certain Capcom IPs on Nintendos systems.

Needs a price cut to help it.

Not even this will help anymore. Like I said before it may polish the numbers (reducing the Damage), but Nintendo is already selling the Console at a loss. So it won't change the situation if there is a price cut or not. It won't change anything.

I'm curious to know where you're getting this info from as well.

I think this is the 50th time you've posted this or something akin to this.

Because it's the answer to the thread, the only way Wii U could be saved is if Nintendo supports it a llittle longer before releasing an other home console

You've been sleeping the past years? Or do you think a few EA or Uibisoft Games stand for Quality? The current Library is superb. The problem is, a new Game every 3 month is not enough. You need the Shovelware. Quantity over Quality, in that case.

"I'm curious to know where you're getting this info from as well."

It's not an Info, it's an prediction. Or call it a Women's intuition. No, it's a simple prediction like the million threads here on VGChartz.

It's a confirmed fact Nintendo sold the 3DS and the Wii U at a loss a few years ago. Well, the 3DS made it's way. But do you really think a miracle happened and they're making profit with the Wii U now? Sony made years of loss with the Playstation 3. And you really think Nintendo is making profit with the Wii U? It's a whole different situation compared to the Vita as an example. Sony put little to no effort into the Vita, but they are selling Systems and Memory Cards. The Games are all coming from Third Parties. But Nintendo is putting money into the Wii U. They are the only one delivering Software to this System. I really can't believe they are actually making money with a Wii U System sold. Maybe I'm wrong, but for me, this is highly unlikely.

Be aware: English is not my native language. The Internetz is the only place I'm partly speaking this smooth language. And because my Signature is so boring, feel free to insert a lame Boob-Joke here: [Insert lame Boob-Joke here]

Warning: Nintendo and Übel Blatt Fangirl alert

So in other words, tons of good, exclusive software.

That is certainly not the answer. And it hasn't been the answer anytime you've posted that statement.

Call of Duty, Grand Theft Auto, FIFA, Dragon Quest, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy all exclusive for the next 10 years.
