The only logical place for this game is PS4, maybe PS4/Xbone Combo and even more unlikely a PC version... There`s no reason for this game be on Wii U... It will probably be released in 2017 or even later, no point in making it a cross-gen game...

Well the 10th entry was practically exclusive for nintendo (only pc and what it game is not in pc) and it has been doing really well in japan almost 400k so i think it has to come to wii u

Hold on there, the wii u has sold really well with DQ10 so please don't count it out and yeah maybe if it is 2017 it will come out in the NX

Dragon Quest VIII sold over 3.5m in Japan
Dragon Quest IX sold over 4.5m in Japan

Less than 1/3 of Dragon Quest X's sales were on Wii U.

I don't think it looks great for the prospects of a further Wii U release. NX on the otherhand could be a possibility.

I think it will be for the ps4, because when DQXI will release, the userbase will be big enough because of great games released before...metal gear in september, star ocean 5 seems to be released december, next year world of final fantasy and i think FFXV too, and don't forget that we will some great games at TGS (level5 jrpg???), too...only to mention a few

It didn't really, vgchartz just counts the sales of the expansions towards Dragon Quest X sales.

WiiU is inviable for western market, DQ 10 sold ok in Wii U in Japan, but this game still have to see the light in West, if it ever will. For reaching a global audience, including Japan, the Ps4 is the only viable home console nowadays, DQ every new release grows in popularity in West, they wouldn`t cut it out releasing for a console nobody but diehard nintendo fans care. Actually, if you are not Nintendo there`s no reason to release games exclusive for Wii U, low user base, low power, gimmicky controller and so on.

And for a NX release, maybe a port, but not being the main console.
