400k is great for a MMORPG on a WiiU but low for a DQ game overall.

Pretty sure less people are playing that now.

Infact from reading about the sales figures - it looks like DQ10 sold 1 million overall but only retains 300k of its fanbase. Thats quite a huge drop :x.

Great for a MMO I guess...lol.

and that 300-400k MMO has likely brought in more revenue than any entry in the series. This is why the company makes them.

Square Enix will probably only release it for PS4 and to make us Nintnedo fans angry, Xbox One. Just the same way they did with Kingdom Hearts. We supported KH on GBA, DS and 3DS but we won't get KH3 for Wii U, but the Xbox fans will get it.

They will do the same with DQ.

And the Bravely Default series if they ever make a console entry.

I pray to God that the Xbox One version of KH3 flops hard.

Probably a WiiU/PS4 version coming out.

Also maybe if this game releases in like 2016-2017 and the NX (whatever that may be) is out by then maybe it will get a version as well. Better to start trying to get third parties on board right now.

View it from the positive side, it coming to PS4 at least significantly increases the probability of it coming to the west without having to wait for ages (or maybe not getting it at all)
