Yuji Horii confirms that DQ XI will be an offline RPG and is developed for home console(s)!

Hold on there, the wii u has sold really well with DQ10 so please don't count it out and yeah maybe if it is 2017 it will come out in the NX

WiiU is inviable for western market, DQ 10 sold ok in Wii U in Japan, but this game still have to see the light in West, if it ever will. For reaching a global audience, including Japan, the Ps4 is the only viable home console nowadays, DQ every new release grows in popularity in West, they wouldn`t cut it out releasing for a console nobody but diehard nintendo fans care. Actually, if you are not Nintendo there`s no reason to release games exclusive for Wii U, low user base, low power, gimmicky controller and so on.

And for a NX release, maybe a port, but not being the main console.
