Nintendo really need to launch their home consoles there since a lot of their stuff would still be sold regularly unlike Sony and MS. Maybe the Wii Mini?

not surprised seems with every gen(well this and the last gen) we greatly overestimate China and India; just because over a billion people live there doesn't mean it yield great sales(especially with the poverty in both countries)

Why you post incorrect info. If they have local version of the console they can play any game they want. There is no limited list.

Really? when did that change? The Xbox One was region locked, The PS4 while not region locked can't access online foreign games or login to foreign PSN accounts. On top of that the local release libray for both is pathetic, both were released restricted, would have thought there would have been some huge news article if that has changed.
Does this honestly surprise anyone? Of course the Xbone or PS4 wouldnt take off in China.
They only care about PC games.

That's total GDP lol. and it's PPP adjusted. China has 4 times the population of the US, so each citizen would on average still be much poorer, even after purchasing power adjustments (which doesn't make sense in this case, because consoles are cheaper in the US than in China.) However there is a huge middle and upper class in China, so money is not the reason the consoles aren't doing well.

Not saying your wrong but I think a citation is in order please?, as recently as April it was still locked as everyone was all the articles were saying what a huge advantage sony got by not having that particular restriction hence grey market imports of games would work.
