Forums - Gaming Discussion - Rare Replay is Amazon UK's most-pre-ordered game announced at E3

Amazon has revealed the Top Ten most pre-ordered games revealed at this year’s E3.

On top are two Microsoft titles – game anthology Rare Replay comes in at No.1, while Gears of War: Ultimate Edition is second.

Then its two titles from Bethesda – the new Doom title and Dishonored 2.

And – perhaps unsurprisingly – the long-awaited Final Fantasy VII Remake also makes an apperance in this chart at No. 5.

The online retailer has also revealed the Top Ten games that saw the biggest uplift in pre-orders following E3. Forza Motorsport 6 topped this chart, with an increase in pre-orders of 1005 per cent, while Star Wars Battlefront’s pre-orders leaped 857 per cent.

Note this information tells us less than you might think. For example, we have no idea what pre-orders these games had before the LA show. Forza 6 might have only have one pre-order, with a further 1,005 people pre-ordering following E3. Without knowing the actual change in unit sales, this information does not tell us much.

“This year’s line-up of games was one of the best yet, with titles such as Fallout 4 and Uncharted 4 some of the most anticipated of recent years,” said Russell Jones, video games category leader.

“It’s great to see Forza Motorsport 6 and Rare Replay as the stand out winners, with customers responding incredibly well to their exciting presentations at the conference”.

Below is the most Top Ten most pre-ordered games and perpherals announced at E3:

1, Rare Replay, Microsoft
2. Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Microsoft
3. Doom, Bethesda
4. Dishonored 2, Bethesda

Hope its accurate. The Rare collection is phenomenally good value and MS did a great job with Gears of War Ultimate Collection.

The beta went down really smoothly. Its hands down the best and most accomplished remaster of a single game to date,.

Great for Microsoft, is that Gears 4 on #6? Wow and even the elite X1 control is there on #10 even with the high price point that's insane.

Proud to be a Californian.

It's the most pre-ordered because their release date is the closest to... to like right now. Big effing news right.
Good on them, but that's it.

Of course it's at top. The world is starving for the old Rare. Hopefully the new Rare doesn't ruin it.

Bet with Xander XT:

I can beat more games on his 3DS than he can on my PSVita in a month. Loser has to buy the winner a game on his/her handheld Guess who won? http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=193531

And they didn't think that people might want to see that as well? Also I'm assuming this is UK, right?

I don't know why you have a problem with this but it's news whether you like it or not.

Or it could be that it offers excellent value for an excellent price.

Price/value and release date certainly has an impact but it's still worth posting....
