Forums - Microsoft Discussion - What are the chances that Halo will be coming back to the PC?

Hopefully it does, the challenge will be how you do crossplay successfully with fps.

Enable mouse support for Halo on the XBone. Problem solved.

I think you get a far more immersive sense with a controller though.

If it does then there is no reason to buy an Xbox One.

It sold XBox Ones when it released. It's system selling potential is less now, might as well bring it elsewhere to make more money.

Besides, by the end of the year, there are far more games to warrant the purchase. Bringing 1+ year old Xbox One games to Windows after they have been exhausted of their Xbox system selling potential is a logical move.

Millions of gamers don't game on PC though, in which case this means nothing. It won't come to PS4, which is the #1 competitor. And if a PS4 gamer buys any Xbox One game released for PC, that's Playstation gamers giving money to MS pockets......while neglecting their PS4 while playing said games.

Win/win :)

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

but you will get slaughter like pigs, by any pc gamer that ever played a fps before.   mouse and keyboard are superior, and not just a bit, thats why we havnt seen alot of crossplattform multiplayer.

Care to explain why?  Because I certainly don't agree with that statement.  And the whole point is to allow people to play with their preferred control scheme.  Only with console gamers do we get the sentiment that more choice is a bad thing.

GTA V online on the pc separates users based on auto aim, and I think other controller settings as well. So if r* can do it I think microsoft can as well.

Mouse and keyboard are way to mechanical for me, with analogue sticks and rumble I don´t even think about the controller but rather the feel the game gives me. For me, mouse and keyboard has always been a way to be the most effective at a game, while a controller´s purpose is to provide a natural extension of your hands. But it is of course subjective.

That sounds like the argument that PC games are better because of graphics performance. Mouse and keyboard are superior at being effective tools in multiplayer, but do they give you the best gaming experience?

They release Halo 5 on PC and they are gonna lose all trust that any game they release will truly ever be exclusive.

we talk about crossplattform mp. and yes, pc gamers would have the better gaming experience in such a match, console gamers would feel like bots, and thats not cool.

porting halo to pc is fine, and i would play it with a xbox360 controller, why? because its made for those controlls.

the first halo felt realy bad on pc, but fine on xbox.
