However even the witcher 3 got a %10 decount (which is only like $6) but its not that its was priced low enough, its the fact that they rosed the price and "discounted" the game just to be apart of the Summer sale. very shady

looks like Gta 5's rating dropped a little on steam due to this. from 9/10 to 8/10

That's not the point.  If they didn't put it on sale, no one would be annoyed.  It's the idea of making these "bundles" that most people won't be interested in buying and then charging $60.

Meanwhile, for anyone who really is interested, Greenman Gaming, which I actually prefer over Steam, has a 25% off code going that includes GTA V, knocking the price down to $45.  When you join, they have the "VIP" deals with Arkahm Knight at $35.99, as well, plus some others.

That'll teach em.

They should just make it $6000 then announce a 99% discount.

At least if they're going to rip people off, they can do it in an awesome way .

Send a Friend Request On PSN :P

Rockstar continues to screw over console gamers much harder:

  • GTA III: €9.99 (PS Store, ancient PS2-version in sub-HD), €2.49 (Steam)
  • GTA Vice City: €9.99 (PS Store, ancient PS2-version in sub-HD), €2.49 (Steam)
  • GTA San Andreas: €14.99 (PS Store, ancient PS2-version in sub-HD), €14.99 (Xbox Marketplace), €2.49 (Steam)
  • GTA III Trilogy (GTA III + Vice City + San Andreas): €29.99 (PS Store), €6.24 (Steam)
  • GTA IV: €4.99 (PS Store), €24.99 (Xbox Marketplace), €4.99 (Steam)
  • GTA IV Complete (GTA IV + Lost&Damned + Gay Tony): €29.97 (PS Store), €53.47 (Xbox Marketplace), €7.49 (Steam)
  • GTA V: €69.99 (PS Store, PS4-Version), €69.99 (Xbox Marketplace, both 360- and XBO-version), €55.48 (Steam, "Tiger Shark CC" + San Andreas included)
  • GTA V + "White Shark Cash Card": €84.98 (PS Store, PS4-Version), €84.98 (Xbox Marketplace, both 360- and XBO-version), €56.23 (Steam)

Yeah, PC gamers get totally screwed compared to the other digital stores/marketplaces ;)

I always said that GTA IV wasn't a 98 game and GTA V isn't a 97 game. They got these scores by pure hype. Both aren't in the same level that San Andreas: the last GTA masterpiece.

That is exactly how I feel about the game. GTA: San Andreas is their best work. It's gone downhill since.

Well a lot of PC gamers arent buying games at full price and wait for a steam summer sale so i understand Rockstars motivation for doing such a thing, a little bit.

I should of known it would take you to come in here and try blame this on PC gamers instead of finding fault with the Dev.

If what you say is true how come that in the same time frame GTA5 on PC outsold the PS4 version and the X1 version even being at full price and released much later. If PC gamers dont buy games at full price why is that the case then??.

It would of been better for R* to offer no discount at all and just keep the game at full price instead of pulling such a shotty move and getting backlash for it..

Except that it didn't...
