Wii outsold PS4 by more than 3:1...

So, well, we can say that even if the Wii never hit 50% of marketshare, the Wii sales are MUCH more impressive than the PS4 sales... or what do you think?

Wii had a short good life and PS4 will have a long good life. PS4 still will outsell Wii!

This proves how bad Wii U is performing. Despite lower sales PS4 still has good share and its still $100 expensive. This just looks worse on Nintendo's part.

And yeah. PS4 > Wii U + 3Ds. Or PS4 > Wii.

And so, so much people say that is so impressive 50% of marketshare, but even if Wii never hit, the Wii sales are much more impressive than other console.

...And not. PS4 will not sell 100,000,000.

Interesting, never realized just how much the Wii was selling in some of those months!

That being said it's both very impressive. Home consoles in general were selling better last gen than right now so even with the Wii's crazy sales it was tough to get 50% market share.

Right now we're seeing the PS4 kill 2 consoles when consoles aren't selling as well which is a feat upon itself as well.

Won't prolong this rant any longer. Bottom line is both are very impressive!

The thing with market share is it's relative to the competition. There are a lot of underperformers this gen.

Of course. I won't negate the true. Wii U sales are just bad. I love the sistem. But the true is that WU is the worse Nintendo console in term of sales.

This thread is just for see that the "50% of marketshare" is not so important as much people think.

Many people are still recovering after the PS4 50% share part. Its hard to swallow news. This thread proves it.

I really believe that nothing will beat the wii sales explosion with smartphones so popular now days. Lots of people that wanted a wii play candy crush now. I can hardly think of a household that didn't have a wii. Ive seen quite a few people in there 60s that had a wii. When I was looking at houses for sale a few years ago I think just about every house I looked at that was occupied had a wii in the living room. Most older people either bought it for wii sports/fit games or for grand children. I seriously doubt they would buy a ps4 or xbone and most have never heard of a wiiu. If they have they think it's a add on. Most of these older people now have iphones. I live in the states.
