Welp, I'm probably just gonna buy the slim. Especially if there's no announcement for the Scorpio at E3 (which I don't think there will be) I can always trade in the slim later (hopefully the price doesn't tank on Xbox One's)

Lol at the ammount of Salt over the DR4 rumor, if it's true then I'm happy that MS was able to secure exclusivity.
Also I hope that MS does port Sunset Overdrive to Windows 10 especially if it gives it a bigger chance to get a sequel on the XB1.

If DR4 gets announced I hope it gets released next year, I wonder if it uses the Cloud technology like how Crackdown 3 is going to use it.

It would be the perfect game to use Cloud Technology Imagine the ammount of Zombie's and Destruction that they would be able to get away with. I doubt that this game will use it though Class 4 seems like a better canidate especially since that game will be multiplayer focused.

picture has the quality of a photo made with a potato but well..

All these games always in cities in the USA which look similar to each other or which I already see ever day in a movie. I'm getting bored by that.

Why can't we get games in the other 500 big cities around the globe lol.

I agree. Sleeping Dogs was very interesting because it featured a different location. Though Chicago from the first Watch Dogs and now San Francisco aren't used that often either.

I just hope that new Remedy game will release on Xbox. Also, I don't think MS lost Remedy any more than Remedy lost MS.

November 15th

some gameplay:

Holy crap Watchdogs looks nice.
The character movements seem so fluid and the driving as well.
It takes bunch of cues from The Division in regards to gunplay. I'm kinda sold because it looks like it's a sandboxy type of game with GTA vibe to it.

Yeah, before Watch Dogs Chicago was never featured in an open world game afaik, and San Francisco has only been featured twice (Driver: San Francisco and GTA San Andreas).

I agree, Sleeping Dogs was amazing. Square had better announce a sequel next E3.

So, with Watch Dogs it has been in almost all open world games which are mainly in a city then Most other interesting cities have never been in such a game which would give us a much more varied experience in gaming.

But seems as if games have to be in USA since Hollywood movies playing in cities are also almost all there or something weird like that. Do they fear that people from USA wouldn't buy the games otherwise? I just don't get it.

It's always the same damn bridges, buildings and hills I see in media lol.  I know some of these places better than my own city just from media.

It probably will be multiplatform, don't really think they lost each other at all, Remedy probably just got a good offer, they're an independant studio it's no different than Insomniac making Sunset Overdrive for MS and who knows, their second game could be snatched up by Microsoft since they don't have a publisher for that yet or eventually, Alan Wake 2

Remedy going two team, one multiplatform and one exclusive would be nice and probably for the best.

Yup, I don't think there's any reason for Remedy to regret working with Microsoft. They had an idea for Quantum Break and Microsoft was willing to fund and publish it and actually make the game a bigger project than it was supposed to be. Remedy got paid and got to go with their vision for a very ambitious game and I'm sure they're proud of what they came up with. Without Microsoft QB might have never happened.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be selling well enough but because of modest sales I'd say Microsoft is going to think twice before funding their next game. I hope they do work with Remedy in the future though :)
