It really is fresh to play old games. So fun and refreshing.

They are, yes.

The formulas are similar, the dark setting is usually the same and the publishers/developers are prioritising the presentation over the gameplay and the gameplay itselg is getting homogenised because everything is becoming an open world (go to place, get mission design). It can get boring.

But yeah, Nintendo games seem to still mantain some of that appeal because they dont conform to the rule.

I was burned out with them for a while, didn't really found fun in completing games anymore.

I gave it a rest and started playing indies first and later again some big IPs. I guess I needed a brake. At the moment back with the last of us. BuT I'm really enjoying PvZ Garden WaWarfare,.a fun game without all the bugs and glitches.

It's always good to take a break from playing games so they don't get boring. I did so for all of 2013 and have been greatly entertained by all games I've bought since.

Try something other than open-world games. I get bored of them sometimes too. Sometimes I just need to get straight to the action and maybe a good story

If you want the anti-open world game, try Bioshock: Infinite

I got the same problem. I haven't finished a game on my ps4 since wolfenstein.
I haven't finished a game on pc for I don't know how long..
The only things I can play these days are Tribalwars, CS:GO and LoL and even these games get me bored after an hour or two.. :L

Living up to your name, huh? I suggest that you broaden your taste in games.

I have the same problem. I've been playing Shadow of mordor for a few days and haven't really found it that good even though I love those types of games. I think I'll just stick to mobile games and Halo and MK8 for a little while.

Try and find some good games which aren't similar to anything you've played before. I know what I'd reccomendv

Maybe your standard was so high

Mine too, so when ever I want to play game, I play master piece and best games, don't play normal games cause it will make your interest in game broken
