Forums - PC Discussion - Quick question about resolution

Guys, my current desktop has a 1366x768 resolution, the one I use to play.

So, I want to know if I play my games in 720p, 768p or what is it called. I saw some people saying that 768p does not exist, and I'm not expert on resolutions.

You can play games at 1366x768. The option will be availabe in the drop-down menu of the settings. You can also play games at 720p (1280 x 720.) 1366 x 768 has 127488 more pixels than 720p, so it is the better resolution of the two. Both are 16:9 aspect ratio.

768p is 768 pixels measured Vertically.... of course this "exists" and as long as a game runs natively in the resolution of your screen that is what you are gaming at.

Some older games might not feature that resolution but if you want to find out the res you are playing at just go into the settings and check the individual games resolution, just because your desktop is 1366x768 it's the in game resolution you'll want to see for what you are actually looking at.

768p does exist. a number written with a "p" following it is just the amount of vertical pixels being displayed on the monitor. resolutions such as 480p, 720p, and 1080p are all just common standards.

" is the amount of detail you can see in an image" or as I like to phrase it, the point at which your eyes can separate the detail of two different things... usually, for example, while using a microscope.

If you find a drop down list like this in your games settings, that is the resolution that game or program is running in, not all programs will be running at your desktop res.

edit - your resolution exists on my list o/ it's real!!!

Can't wait to grab a standard 1080 though by June.

Also i know it's too late but I hope this helps for anyone in the future

I haven't encountered that resolution myself, but I don't doubt it exists.
