It´s above 80, so it´s a great score. Seems fair enough

100% agreed, it is a great score. Review scores were inflated and ruined in the 7th gen, we all forgot what they actually mean. When I was a young boy, most of the games we bought were considered mediocre by reviewers and any game that scored in the 80th or 90th percentile was considered amazing.

"I don't buy games to play them three months from now" - Well, theres your problem. Multiplayer games like this live or die based on their ability to keep players around for longer periods of time. It isn't a game about getting to the finish and being done with it. I have spoken numerous times about how this strategy can increase longevity (for both individuals and the community) as well as keep the community focused.

"It would be different if it weren't Nintendo" - Maybe, maybe not, however, I don't think that particularly matters. I don't think the validity of a point should be judged by their association to a fanbase, they should be judged on their own merit. Because of that, I think injecting accusatory language implying fanboyism seems to be doing nothing but lighting fires and derailing the thread.

Perfect.

By the way, Nintendo already had its own share of criticism with paid DLC, in the case of Super Smash Bros (mii costumes? c´mon..), Mario Golf World Tour, Rusty´s Real Deal Baseball......

For me, Splatoon doesn´t seem like an unfinished product. Glad they´re having this approach and future expansions will be free

sure, but it misses some points...

its not the same if nintendo promisses something or one of the big 3rd partys, we can trust nintendo, but we cant trust EA or ubi.

This is one of those games even if the reviews aren't must have territory its still good enough to justify a purchase for me as it looks so damn fun.

See? Wii U was always a next gen console.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

I remember when users in here used to give developers a hard time for releasing "unfinished games". Bob Dylan was right; the times they are'a changin'.

I remember when last gen some, like me, pointed how reviewers gave free points to HD games just for being HD. Those times has also changed for some users.

I remember the 7th gen as an overrated hell for old dogs like myself, so yes; agreed.
