As for the game, story does sound promising although disappointing at the same time. Sounds like it is just going to focus on those two girls, would love it if there are some more important characters involved that they just haven't announced or something. IMO RPGs are much better with a big diverse party.

Vita(any portable) versions are always cheaper.

Ya, it seems so many JRPGs are focusing on two-three characters these day. (Given sometimes more casts also causes a lack of focus)

Had to look up whether it was related to Ni No Kuni, was a tad disappointed to find out that it wasn't.

Gust has a pretty good reputation when it comes to RPGs, though, so I might look at a PS3 copy if it gets an English-language release.
