Very tiny Vita section or even sometimes just a single shelf or mid floor kiosk whereas Wii U usually has it's own wall or segment of a wall.

Admittadly, GameStops are damn tiny comapred to Game.

Where do you live? In Germany it is the completely contrary...

In Germany GAME stores are small but GaemStop stores are big?

PS Vita has its own section in every market.
Wii U is completely dead in the most market.

This is what I want to say. ^^

I'd go for vita since anything I'm interested in on the wii U are multiplatform games which I play on PS3/PS4.

Same does apply to vita, but its a portable device so its good that I can play those games when I cant play PS3/PS4.

Yeah, while I said that I am disappointed with it multiple times recently, I'd go with WiiU on this once.

Both the Wii U and the PS Vita are cool systems imo. I'll say neither because I don't want to choose which one is better right now.

Where I am (the US), there's barely anything in GameStop's PS Vita section. The Wii U has a much bigger shelf than the the Vita, which is a lot less than the Xbox 360/One and PS3/PS4 section.

Oh well, there isn't Gamestop where I live, but GAME, Daily Price and the turkish electronic stores have their specific section for Vita games.

For the US, we get Wal-Mart, Target, Toys R Us and Best Buy as are other alternatives.  Wal-Mart is the worst for Vita.  I've seen sections that had 2 Vita games for actual sale and that was it.  The rest of that shelf were PSP games.

In general, retail here just sucks for games.

I agree. It's a shame.

It's a really cool handheld to have along with the 3DS imo.

In my country, the only way to get Vita games is in a dedicated gaming store (that are similar to Gamestop). Big stores like Wal-Mart don't have a Vita section at all.

Wii U is pretty small but there's one at least.

Mario Kart DLC now counts as a game? :p

2 of those 90+ games were also released on Vita. ;)

If you want to pull the numbers game. Vita has 113 75+ rated (good) games while Wii U has 85. So bout 40% more good games on Vita if you're going to use metacritic? Or do people only play games that score 90% and above? They'd be a bit buggered with that Mario Kart DLC, as the base game "only" got 88.

Vita games barely get reviews. It's a common rule of metacritic that the score of a game will drop if it gets more reviews.

Take all the inferior ports away from the Vita and you're left with very little.

Are Fez and Velocity 2X really worth 90%+ on metacritic? No, they're not. You can play Fez on almost every platform, including the cheapest pc. Just look at the userscores of these games lol.

Why does what you can play the game on have a influence on the quality of the game? Also they're not inferior ports if you're directly comparing a game that is on Vita against a game that isn't on Wii U. Other versions of games become irrelevant.  We are comparing 2 stand alone libraries of software. Not chopping and choosing.

As for Velocity 2X doesn't deserve 90+%.  Why not? It's a great game. I take it Rayman Legends and Guacamelee don't deserve 90%+ on Wii U? So you're removing games from that too.
