Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Will Xbox One have a Exclusive rich E3?

Phil Spencer in a recent tweet to a fan stated. “I’m trying to make this E3 more about 1st party than past E3s.”.

...Do you really think he would said something else ?

"No, our E3 will be third party only, nothing to see here folks"

He's a sales representative, of course he will not say something bad for his product. Such as when someone ask him how E3 2015 will be...

Do you think he will say "Our E3 will be worse than last year, sorry guys" ? Of course he will say "Our E3 will be better than E3 2014, don't miss it !".

Or when someone ask him if jrpg are coming on Xbox one ...

He will never say "not a chance in life, it's a lost cause", but "Look for future news , stay tuned !"

""It had better be.

Right now Phil seems to be all talk and no action, hopefully he can back up what he's said this time.""

And i agree with him, his words are useless, only actions will count.

In your ideal world, that may be the case but luckily for the rest of us, you're wrong.

3rd party games may sell the best on a console generally but it's not why someone buys that particular console over the others. It's the exclusives. I'm done with this. We're just going around in circles. Til our next debate or disagreement, Mr. Puggsly. Have a good one.

Sorry, you must have Playstation confused with a Nintendo platform or something. 1st party games accounted for a relatively small percentage of software sales on PS3. The PS4 will be no exception.

If I was wrong 1st party games would account for more sales on Sony platforms.

It seems most people choose whatever console their friends have/recommend as long as it has CoD, BF, AC, Fifa, Madden, GTA and all the other shit people tend to play. A much smaller percentage buy a console for the exclusives. Sorry, 21 million people didn't buy a PS4 to play Uncharted and God of War down the road.

Xbox 360 fell into success because Sony fucked up so bad with the PS3. Its kinda the same story with PS4. MS made bad moves and Sony is benefitting greatly. If you think PS4 is doing great because of the 1st party games... well that's laughable.

Bottom line, we both agree PS4 has done a better job appelaing to consumers and MS deserves some credit for actually pushing people away. Sony's exclusives help move some hardware, but not nearly as much as you're giving credit for.

Last year phil was barely in the door and the projects they had already been working, where the ones shown, So with a little time getting games, ideas and teams together, we will see what he has planned and has been working on. I'm not sure what you guys expected last year, he had just taken over and what was in production or on the table was all he had to use.

However it is about the action but you guys are forgetting he needs time to make these deals and games. You can't just produce a game a week after he showed up. So far he has pulled Phantum Dust from the pits of hell, secured Gears of war as a exclusive, backed off kinect like everyone asked, also has backed Rare in some new games (Rumors say) and has had a massive diologue with the  fans. So this e3 will reveal his work and yes he has to put up or shut up but don't count this man out.

Depends on their deals with third party. Outside of franchise's that they've purchased, microsoft best games have always been made outside of their walls.
