Can't see there being a Slim and will be surprised if they manage to do it before the PS4. Sony are the masters at slimming their consoles.

Yea, but considering how big the x1 came out without an internal power unit, I say they have the most room to do some cuts. This time the ps4 just came more eficient. Although I think they will both wait for amd to shrink the components to release a slim.

Hmm, 1tb version far more likely. I'd say it's too early for a slim. Crazier things have happened though.

The sooner the better. Take Sony and the industry by surprise. Should work wonders for them if the price is right. "$299 available Tuesday."
The longer they wait the further Sony moves ahead, and they are already ahead by 10 million. So again, the sooner the better.

I heard AMD and Nvidia skip 20nm Entirely and jump straight to 16nm. We have not even an announcement for 20nmGPUs. If they are realising a slim xbox it will be without 20nm chip. Maybe they are able to improve the cooling system and fit everything in a smaller box?

Remove the TV and Kinect features (that dont even work in most regions), that alone will make the box half the size. Make it $299 with 1Tb and just gaming hardware and dominate the gaming industry for the next 3-4 years

Yeah, and after that you wake up all wet. No offense, but it's never going to happen. 

Firstly they won't cut the price further AND add a bigger hard drive. Way too expensive and the console would reach the point of market saturation very soon. And even with that, I don't really see them improving their situation outside the USA and UK. How can you dominate with just two regions?
