Nah, I'd just like to use the team I put a lot of work into creating and play on the platform that supports the creators. I'd lose the tournament regardless of where it's played since I don't like single battles and my teams are built with doubles in mind.

Hey Doubles >>>>> Singles every day of the week man

I personally prefer singles for the most part.

You can't honestly tell me not a single person plays Showdown without owning the games, therefore I'm not wrong. Hell if I were to go on and play it right now then I'd be doing a disservice since I don't actually own OR or AS.

You don´t own OR or AS, yet you don´t play showdown, so showdown it´s not the reason you don´t support OR or AS. Showdown has a userbase of around 15,000 users, and pokemon OR AS sold around 10.69 million units, so my point still stands, you are wrong because you overestimate the negative impact sites like showdown have on sales because there is no negative impact a multi million dollar company can get from 15,000 random user (most of them buy the games anyway, and then there are people like you who didn´t buy the game yet they don´t support showdown)

And just like I said you keep looking at showdown like it´s the worst crime nintendo fans can commit against nintendo by saying you would be doing a disservice, it´s not that big of a deal and I´m sure nintendo doesn´t care if you didn´t paid 60 dollars for a game that sold 10.69 units.

Noice thought I was the only one on this site! We should battle sometime, but will probably never happen just like Mario Kart. :L

When I did overestimate anything? Here's what I said again.

"It may not be by much, but it's existence gives reason to not buy and play the real games thus not supporting the real ones responsible for that game you're playing on Showdown."

I already acknowledged the amount is insignificant with the bolded, the underlined is my point, which no amount of numbers will disprove. I simply feel having the option to play the game in a way that doesn't support the devs is wrong, you're simply gonna have to accept that and move on, hence this is my last post on the matter.

I already said I´m ok with you not supporting this kind of things a couple of post before,  this should have ended long time ago but I guess we got carried away.

Hopefully in 2016 they will add those gamepad features. And things could change around....... maybe....

I read that it has the same touch screen functionality as the Vita version, though I don't know what that means as far as features go.

But yes, I do hope they add gamepad features with updates.

Hmm, I've read over your comments and will take them into consideration..

Pokemon Tournaments will most likely remain in the XY format (you can still use ORAS, just not the extra Megas and moves) but will have to see

We definitely can do double battles, but again, it really depends on support

As not many people participate in the Pokemon Tournaments in the first place, as long as there is enough people wanting or willing to play doubles, then that should be completely fine

Pokemon Go Information:

On how Pokemon Go developed since it’s an unusual thing for Nintendo to do, and they rarely collaborate to this degree with companies in the west…

"It was driven in large part by Mr. Ishihara and the Pokémon Company. They’ve been involved in developing all the Pokémon games through the years. They guide the IP. But a lot of what they do is through partnerships. They partnered initially with Wizards of the Coast to bring out the Pokémon card game, which has now sold something like 21 billion cards. They have animation partners who do the TV show. They’re a partnering type of company. Mr. Ishihara ushered us into the halls at Nintendo.

The former CEO of Nintendo, Mr. Iwata, had his hand on the wheel. He was steering Nintendo in a new direction. Part of that was the partnership with DeNA, the mobile game company. They have new hardware in the pipeline that they’ve been working on. He saw the need and personally wanted to help evolve Nintendo. They resisted mobile for a long time. But it’s clear their relationships with us and with DeNA that they now understand how relevant it is to the future."
