Only if Sony keeps the system for another generation. If the Vita has a lifespam as the GameBoy, it could sell 4 or 5 million in Europe. If they don't, people will just buy a PS4.
Hmm, if it continues at the rate it is going, if it is still in the market, the Vita could pass the GC in 2 to 4 years maybe? So I will say yes, it has a good chance.

Depends on Sony. There are plenty of japanese games still coming out, but they need to keep supporting it and incentivizing those localisations.
Maybe, if they keep marketing it as an 'accessory' ( which provides unique functions ) for the PS3/4, Project Morpheus, Xperia series, Sony TV's.
Pocky Lover Boy!
I think it can equal that number overtime. Maybe. The gamecube was cheaper than Vita though, so if Vita ever goes 99 euros I think it can reach 5M.
Ultimately depends if Sony continues to support the Vita for a good while.
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
Yes. I don't see the Vita going being discontinued any time soon and we know VGC has been undetracking it for the longest time now.
