My heart gives it a 10, because that is how much I enjoyed it, but I ended up giving it a 9 only because it is a little too short.

But honestly, it is tied with Super Mario World for the best 2D platformer of all time!

It is absolutely great. It took me 40h to 100% (maybe I am bad...). It is gorgeous and the controls are excellent. It's 83 metacritic score is way too low IMO (the user score is 89 by the way which might suggest I am not the only one to believe so...). An unforgiving game, but not unfair.

Meta is so bad. I need to buy this game. Donkey Kong on the SNES was one of my all time favorites and its sound like this game is the closest thing since.

I didn't like it as much as the first one. Just seemed a bit less diverse in level design. It's good, but I didn't think it was amazing. Soundtrack is great though.

I think it is the best 2D platformer I played in years. The controls are perfect and the level design is really well thought. I think I'll give it 9/10 only because it doesn't bring much new ideas on the core gameplay compared to returns

Donkey Kong Country didnt disappoint, its a good game.

yes, i do. Not only my favorite wii U game, but is also on my top 5 overall.

I honestly need to get this. DKCR was possibly my favorite title last generation.

Honestly if a friend asked if they should get a Wii U for mario games, Id say dont bother.
Id tell them get the Wii U if you want, but instead of getting mario games try something like Donkey Kong Country.

Always wanted this game........but.........too many games to choose from and stuff.
