For worst online community, CoD for me... but then again I've never played an MMO.

As for worst fan community, probably Sonic. How they can still defend this franchise is beyond me. Crash fans yearning for a return to the glory days are a close 2nd.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

No one is gonna say it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slender_Man

Really? There's a "Related attacks" section lol.

To name a few:

COD
battlefield
HotS
TF2
Titanfall (past few days)
Contagion
WoW (sometimes)
Starcraft II

Most of these communities are toxic because of how they respond to other players, whenever someone complains in COD or points out that someone actually hacked or used an Aimbot (not always true but it can happen) they are immedietly met with hordes of insults and threats rather than trying to be rational and sort out the issues between them.

Just a few hours ago I was playing Titanfall and faced an enemy team of 6 players all lv 50 with two players sharing the same name but with different numbers (heard about certain TF PC players from Reddit), we lost against them after a few matches and after each match they slagged us off like we weren't a challenge and that we were noobs, my team didn't slag back as much but it was still a toxic thing to see, I really despise those kind of players that slag you just because you weren't good enough, those are the kind of people that make me wonder why I should even bother playing multiplayer since from game to game the same type of people always crop up.

I know LoL is known for having a toxic community and I know Starcraft definitely does when I dive into forum dicussions and pre match/after match talks where one player slags off the other for using a cheese build or rushing too early.

Makes me kinda glad Splatoon won't have any voice chat, I know having the option for voice chat is good and all but honestly we have skype and other VOIP programs to chat with others, make up a team and chat that way sounds a lot more dedicated than trying to talk to some random stranger who will most likely either slag you off or you won't see them again, I find not having voice chat built in means those players itching to slag someone on the other end who's probably going to hear them will be shut down since he can't communicate fully.

I honestly wish there were more harsh consequences in place for multiplayer chat because it's so easy to hide behind the mic and annoying the shit out of others and wanting to make their day suck, getting a week ban if not more would be amazing because they'd have to reform their ways or face getting constantly locked out of multiplayer or even go to a point where they'll quit the game and move onto something else, keep repeating that process until they learn not to be a dick, of course that instills fear of getting banned from multiplayer but it's still worth the lesson to be learned imo.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

I've seen and heard some pretty bad things from the Sonic community

The Smash Bros. community (and sometimes the FGC in general) can be pretty alienating and disrespectful, though sometimes they are really a great group

I haven't had much experience in it but League of Legends' community can be pretty toxic as well

heroes of newerth. Never ever experienced someone to pause the macth just to insult me, and i played dota 1 in eurobatle and play dota 2 today.

"Hardware design isn’t about making the most powerful thing you can.
Today most hardware design is left to other companies, but when you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. From the outset one must consider design from both a hardware and software perspective."

For me personally, Call of Duty, but I've heard Dota takes the ultimate cake.

Final Fantasy fans. Dear god are they bad, they'll shit on your opinion any chance they get. They are just cancer.

Legend of Zelda fans are pretty bad too.

I hope this thread continues and doesn't get locked. You can vent shit here.

Either Halo or CoD (to many young brats)
