Quite big discrepancies for Wii U and Xb one numbers.

If the PS4 baseline can be 16K then it looks like it will consistently outsell Wii U by at least 10K every week. I'm expecting a Wii U price cut this year, but there will also be a PS4 cut. So it will be interesting to see how these change the dynamic.

You are considering a 6k baseline for wii u, wich shouldn't happen for a good while after xenoblade x.

What reason do you have to believe that Xenoblade will provide a lasting boost? It's a RPG, so it'll have very little legs.

You can't tell how big or small xenoblade's legs will be. But it is a highly anticipated title and has a bundle, meaning the current wii u sales are suffering because of it. Besides, splatoon (and yoshi, I think) will release soon after it, so there won't be a drought for at least some months = much bigger baseline than binary is expecting. Also, hoping for a 16k baseline for ps4 may be too much.

Highly anticipated in what regard?  The original Xenoblade sold poorly on a platform that was 2x+ higher upon its release.   Seece mentioned on your wall that you overvalued the Wii U potential this pass holiday, and you never gave no answer for it, I assum it'll be the same once we see that Xenoblade X and the other Wii U titles will have little to no effect on the Wii U sales and its future baseline.

Xenoblade bundle is most likely hurting Wii U sales right now, not as badly as I imagined they would but still. I expected a baseline of around 5000 for Wii U until xenoblade and I think we can expect the baseline to be about 10k+ once the dust settles. When it comes to most things when bundles are announced sales drop heavily. Until the b undle increases them for weeks until it returns to normal which is near/above pre bundle announcements. We just have to wait and see.

Xenoblade didn't sell poorly, It wasnt huge in sales but 150k+ isnt poor sales. (i think someone pointed out 180k-ish Sales lifetime.

What's the point of posting unrelated stuff? And as it was already said, Xenoblade chronicles didn't sell poorly and Xeno X has everything to easily outsell the first game.

Not sure why a limited bundle is going to hurt long term sales. It's not like this Xenoblade bundle is going to be a normal SKU for the future. It's no different than the Type 0 HD PS4 or the Bloodborne PS4.

People are holding out for the bundle, there are some who will jump when other games launch instead of waiting but there are people who are waiting for thsi bundle. With the ps4 the Dragon quest bundle was available for the most part, not to mention it getting quite a lot of games per week to keep it high leading into more bundles.  The Wii U should have a higher baseline once the X bundle passes as people will hold out. That's all.
