Nothing new here... the resolution was told a year ago already and everybody knows DX12 won't make Xbone increase resolution.

Actually, you are right... The OP author of the article has spinned the tweet to make it sound a lot worse than it really is...

Yeah it's exactly the same with CoD on last gen, was always lower as even 720p and nobody cared, it destroyed everything else on consoles sales wise. Now 900p is almost unacceptable, makes sense^^  (yes that's not what the dev said, but he stll seems to think that resolution unbelievable important if he says XBO>PC min but would still take PC version b/c of this)

MS wronged CD Projekct gretly by not releasing XOnes in Poland, relegating them to whatever tier it was they were and this clearly displeased CD Projeckt, a studio that had shown nothing but suport for MS. Theyre not trying to make the game bad on XOne of course but every oportunity theyve had so far to talk down on the console theyve taken.

Wow. Interesting. For PC I would probably do the same thing as I have on occasion before, better res over the fidelity with it running better. However on a big screen on a console, my choice would be different since it's such a big picture and I don't sit 2 feet away from my monitor/TV. Bit different sitting 2 feet away from a 1080p output 24 inch monitor than 10 feet away from a 60 inch 1080p TV. Sitting that far back I don't notice much resolution difference even from 720p to 1080p, but at the monitor I do... so that's my answer to the question nobody asked me lol.

Well that's a mighty sensationalist title. I'll be changing it to something less provocative if you don't mind. I understand that it's from the article, but the title is merely going to cause trouble and you're not going to get any useful discussion out of the thread. That's something that noone wants, I don't think. 

But this is an odd comment from the guy.

Well then choose a better site or something cause what the title says is not what the developer is saying at all... The developer is saying that he would rather play the PC version than the xbox one version because you can change the resolution on the PC and NOT that he would rather choose PC minimum over xbox one's version

I don't think it's odd, I think he's just being honest about what he likes.  I assume he feels that the game on minimum settings isn't bad at all.

One thing that kind of bugs me is the way people beg developers for honesty but then jump on them when they don't give a real opinion instead of a canned response.
