Is it just me or does a lot of these developer seem to be really clumsy when it comes to communication? This only reminds me of the likes of Ubisoft and others that are REALLY bad at talking to people, even through twitter.

Developers are always clumsy with communication and interviews.  They pretty much speak their mind and it cause PR problems all the time.  Most times they are coach before interviews but simple Twitter post is another animal.  Either way when all is said and done, the game probably going to look fine on all platforms with the PC being the best, PS4 2nd because of resolution and maybe even performance but not a given and the X1 pulling in the rear.  People who play the X1 version probably will not even know its not the best as long as performance and graphical shine is the same.

Around the Network

developer asked for their subjective opinion -> developer gives subjective opinion -> people outraged that subjective opinion was given. People want devs to be more open and to cut the corporate double speak, but complain when they don't like what the developer says. No wonders most devs hide behind a wall of PR and marketers, people don't actually want to hear the truth, they only want to have their hopes and beliefs validated regardless of the reality.
