I really don't think it is but at the same time.....announcing the delay caused the internet to go wild, and reached out to tons of people who might not have cared heard about it.
Pretty quick and free marketing tactic to make people talk about your game :O

It would be a great strategy! I imagine that everyone and their mothers know about zelda delay. then it turns out to be a joke. This would get a incredible attention to the game because is something totally unimaginable to do.

I had that thought minutes after the Zelda delay.......but likely won't happen.

That would be hilarious. No one should complain because you'd still be getting Zelda in 2015. Nintendo are always so corporate it would be nice if they had fun.

I seriously doubt it, but would be amazing. Would definitely earn respect for Nintendo from "hardcore" gamers and the like.
