Forums - Gaming Discussion - Nintendo news spread like s#!t thrown at the fan

Yes. Nintendo is the only company on this planet that gets negative press and hyperbolic doom threads on the internet.

But that doesn't matter since they're also the No. 1 in victim mentality.

I've got no idea what you're talking about.

Can you see the picture now?

:o I can see it!

Wooo, polar bear fight!

I think you're both dummy brains and I'm gonna go write a blog about it! And make a thread! YEAH!

Even though there are alot of netative things towards nintendo, its almost always temporary, the Wii U sales has nothing to do with negativity, well maybe because they dont have ''mature games'' based off people from playstation and xbox players, but still its just temporary and even though it can show up quite a few times, nintendo manages just to release a new direct or an E3, and everyone gets incredibly hyped up again about nintendo, (wich i personally like). Then the negativity dies and no one cares more about zelda U being delayed or Wii U is doomed, wich its not.

All I can say is... People these days just panic and jump to like the worst conclusions ever! I would not want to be in a room with these guys if the zombie Apocalypse ever happens cause all they will be doing is panicking

People don't care about that anymore, they are now choosing Ps4 because better multiplats. People even prefer having a Ps4 and a X1

Never heard...

I know it's been a month but have you already forgotten the shitstorm that was The Order:1886?

Let's see how many people will remember about the order on the next years, maybe months

You would want to be with them!

If they are panicing then that gives you time to be smart, get the hell out of there and take all the important stuff with you. If they weren't panicing then it would be a fight to the death for supplies, be thankful that they aren't thinking ahead as far as you

Loll thats true! I guess I can always use them as bait

You're wrong. Negative news about all 3 companies gets just as much attention.

Oh and the ps3 and vita examples are a poor choice. Most people don't care about how much the PS3 cost Sony simply because most people aren't Sony shareholders. And as for the Vita nobody cares because it's a handheld that isn't made by Nintendo. The Wii U people do take note of however because it's a home console and people actually like those.

There must be a lot of Nintendo Shareholders in the world

Sure, it's not only Nintendo, but Nintendoom seems to be more widespread.
It's because of people who had fond memories playing Nintendo feel vested in the company. Today, some of them are adults who write articles, blogs, user who frequent forums and social media. And that includes people who are "long time fans" but wouldn't dare play or own current Nintendo games (no, you are not a fan anymore). It's because of nostalgia that makes them (still) very critical towards Nintendo.

He does kinda have a point though, I mean this gen it's mostly Nintendo, Microsoft is now tagged and locked in for the ride with them because of what happened during 2013, as much as Sony gets some bad press, most of theirs gets overlooked very easily, I mean last gen we were told to get a second job to afford their expensive PS3 back then and it came out with less games and a less stelklar experience, people went apeshit, I was mad back then, still bought a PS3 only for it to die a year and a half later and with it being expensive back then I thought sod it and stopped right there, I still remember the shit they pulled last gen and their security issues but I'm one of the few that will probably ever bring that up, most of anything now will be MS related because they are the "true" big baddies while Nintendo is apparently plum stupid and not as cool anymore.

There's also plenty of PC doom going around this gen if anything, despite PC gaming not being a company or owned by one they get plenty of that going for them.
